The Rubber Band is not your Grandmother's Dixieland Band. It is a high-energy, traditional jazz band with a healthy disdain for authenticity. Playing tunes that span the past 100 years in the New Orleans style but with their own unique perspective, this group will surprise the educated jazz listener and entertain the uninitiated.
The Rubber Band plays the first Wednesday of each month at Tangent Cafe, 2095 Commercial Dr in Vancouver. BC.
